Neurodivegence

I have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those who identify as Autistic, ADHD, or as having learning differences or other neurodivergent traits. Much of my work is with adults who are navigating a late diagnosis, self-identification, or the early stages of realizing that their brain may work differently than what they were taught to expect. This period of discovery can bring relief, grief, confusion, and clarity all at once—and you do not have to navigate it alone.

I offer a neurodiversity-affirming therapeutic space where your experiences are respected and explored without judgment or pressure to “fix” yourself. Together, we work to better understand how your nervous system, communication style, sensory needs, and patterns of thinking have shaped your life experiences. Many clients come to therapy after years of masking, burnout, or feeling as though they were constantly trying to meet expectations that were never designed with them in mind. Therapy can be a place to gently unpack these experiences and begin redefining what well-being looks like for you.

My approach is collaborative and individualized. I work alongside you to support goals related to relationships, work or career challenges, education, parenting, and the stressors of daily life. We focus not only on coping strategies, but also on building self-awareness, self-compassion, and practical tools that align with your unique strengths and needs. Rather than asking you to adapt to systems that feel incompatible, we explore ways to create environments and routines that better support your functioning and well-being.

Identifying as neurodivergent—especially later in life—can sometimes bring up feelings of isolation, grief for unmet needs in the past, or uncertainty about the future. Many individuals have spent years feeling misunderstood or unseen, often internalizing shame or self-doubt. My aim is to provide a supportive, validating space where these feelings can be acknowledged and processed, while also helping you feel more grounded, confident, and at ease in your sense of self.

Ultimately, therapy can be a place to reconnect with who you are beneath expectations, labels, and survival strategies. I am dedicated to supporting you as you deepen your self-understanding, develop skills that truly work for you, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, sustainable, and aligned with your values.
