Young Adults/Millennials
Your 20s and 30s are often described as some of the most important decades of your life, and for many people, they can also be some of the most confusing and emotionally demanding. This period is filled with constant change, big decisions, and unspoken expectations about where you “should” be in life. Questions around relationships, career paths, identity, family, and the future can feel overwhelming, and it’s common for anxiety, stress, and self-doubt to intensify during this time. If you’re feeling uncertain or stuck, there is nothing wrong with you, you’re navigating a lot.
As a therapist, I am committed to providing support during these meaningful life transitions. Therapy offers a space to slow down, take a breath, and begin to untangle the thoughts and emotions that may feel all-consuming. Together, we work to better understand the root causes of your anxiety and stress, exploring how past experiences, current pressures, and internal expectations may be influencing how you feel today. From there, we focus on developing healthy, holistic coping strategies that support both emotional and nervous system regulation, helping you feel more grounded and capable in your day-to-day life.
Anxiety can show up in many different ways during this stage of life. You may find yourself overthinking dating or relationship dynamics, feeling disconnected or unsure within friendships, struggling with family boundaries, questioning career decisions, or navigating major life transitions such as moving, changing jobs, or redefining your sense of self. For many, there is also an underlying fear of “getting it wrong” or falling behind. These are some of the most common concerns I specialize in supporting, and you are not alone in experiencing them.
My approach to therapy is collaborative and supportive. Rather than offering quick fixes or telling you what to do, I work alongside you to build insight, confidence, and self-trust. Together, we create space to explore intimate or vulnerable topics at a pace that feels safe and respectful. As our work unfolds, many clients begin to feel more clarity around their values, greater confidence in their decisions, and a deeper sense of connection to themselves.
Therapy can be a powerful place for personal growth, not by pushing you to become someone different, but by helping you reconnect with who you already are. My goal is to support you in navigating uncertainty with more ease, strengthening your ability to make aligned choices, and moving forward with greater confidence and self-compassion. You deserve support during this season, and you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
