Couples Therapy
You’re tired of feeling stressed within your relationship
You are searching for clarity
I specialize in working with couples who are navigating a wide range of relationship challenges, including communication difficulties, parenting stress, and major family transitions. Relationships can feel especially strained during periods of change, and many couples find themselves feeling disconnected, misunderstood, or stuck in repeating patterns that no longer serve them. My role is to help you slow these moments down, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and support you in reconnecting with one another in meaningful ways.
I work through the lens of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach in which I am formally trained. EFT focuses on understanding the emotional bonds that shape relationships and identifying the underlying needs and attachment patterns that often drive conflict. In therapy, I provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where both partners can feel heard and understood. Together, we explore the root causes of relationship distress and work toward creating more secure, responsive, and emotionally connected partnerships.
One of my particular areas of focus is supporting couples who are raising young children. This stage of life can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also place significant strain on a relationship. Sleep deprivation, shifting roles, mental load, and the demands of parenting can make it harder for partners to communicate clearly, express needs, and stay emotionally connected. Many couples find that conversations become more reactive or transactional, leaving little room for closeness or understanding.
I help couples navigate these challenges by strengthening communication, increasing emotional awareness, and supporting the development of healthy boundaries—both within the relationship and with external demands. My goal is to help you move away from patterns of blame or withdrawal and toward a greater sense of teamwork, collaboration, and mutual support. Through this work, couples often begin to feel more connected, resilient, and confident in their ability to face challenges together.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward as a couple, therapy can be a space to reconnect, rebuild trust, and create a relationship that feels more secure, supportive, and aligned with your shared values.
