ADHD & Relationship Coaching

Life can feel overwhelming when ADHD impacts focus, follow-through, organization, communication, or relationships. ADHD often affects much more than productivity—it can influence self-esteem, emotional regulation, connection with loved ones, and the ability to create lasting habits and routines.

My coaching services are designed for individuals and couples who want practical support, structure, and accountability as they work toward meaningful personal and relationship goals.

ADHD Coaching

ADHD coaching focuses on helping you better understand how your brain works and develop strategies that fit your unique strengths and challenges. Together, we can work on:

  • Improving organization and time management

  • Reducing procrastination and overwhelm

  • Creating sustainable routines and habits

  • Strengthening focus and follow-through

  • Managing emotional reactivity and frustration

  • Building self-confidence and self-compassion

  • Increasing accountability and goal achievement

Rather than focusing on pathology or diagnosis, coaching emphasizes practical tools, growth, and forward movement.

Relationship Coaching

Healthy relationships require intentional communication, emotional awareness, and mutual understanding. Relationship coaching can help individuals or couples strengthen their connection by learning new skills and patterns for relating to one another.

Common areas of focus include:

  • Improving communication and conflict resolution

  • Deepening emotional connection and intimacy

  • Navigating ADHD-related relationship challenges

  • Building trust and understanding

  • Strengthening empathy and active listening

  • Creating healthier relationship habits

  • Clarifying shared goals and values

Relationship coaching offers a supportive space to identify patterns, develop new skills, and foster a stronger partnership.

A Collaborative, Goal-Oriented Approach

My coaching style is warm, practical, and action-oriented. Together, we will identify your goals, uncover obstacles, and create realistic strategies that support lasting change. Coaching can help you move from feeling stuck or overwhelmed to feeling more empowered, connected, and capable.

Important Note: Coaching is not psychotherapy, counseling, or mental health treatment. Coaching is designed for personal growth, skill development, and goal achievement and is not a substitute for therapy, psychiatric care, or other healthcare services. If clinical mental health treatment is needed, appropriate referrals will be provided.

Relationship Coaching Q&A

Can I Work With Coaching Clients Outside of California?

Yes, coaching services are available to clients in many locations, including individuals who may reside outside of California. Because coaching focuses on personal growth, goal achievement, skill development, accountability, and relationship or ADHD-related strategies—and is not psychotherapy—coaching may be accessible to clients in a wider range of locations.

Before beginning services, I will confirm that coaching is appropriate for your needs and that coaching services can be offered in your location.

Is Coaching also Therapy?

Coaching is not therapy, counseling, mental health treatment, or healthcare. Coaching is designed to help clients develop practical skills, improve habits, strengthen relationships, and move toward personal or professional goals. Coaching does not involve diagnosing or treating mental health conditions.

If you are seeking psychotherapy or clinical mental health treatment, services must comply with the licensing requirements of the state or jurisdiction in which you are located at the time of service.

Who Is a Good Fit for Coaching?

Coaching may be a good fit for individuals who:

  • Want to improve communication and relationship skills

  • Are seeking personal growth and goal achievement

  • Are looking for practical tools and action-oriented support

  • Are functioning well in daily life and are not seeking mental health treatment

If you're unsure whether coaching or therapy is the best fit, I would be happy to discuss your goals and help determine the most appropriate service for your situation.
